WESLEY COTTAGE, ROBIN HOOD’S BAY
SLEEPS 5

Dating back to 1649, this beautiful cottage has just undergone complete refurbishment and now offers stylish and comfortable 3-bedroomed accommodation in The Square, one of lower Bay's oldest and most attractive locations. The contemporary style has resulted in the rooms having an airy and peaceful feel and this is particularly so in the bedrooms. The cottage retains a number of interesting features from times gone by such as the coal chute, the fire places and the mysterious initialled stone in the hallway. There are sea views from the top floor and lovely village views from the first floor. The accommodation comprises.....

  • Spacious entrance hall with cloak and boot area.
  • Comfortable and spacious lounge with leather suite, open log fire (logs provided, subject to delivery), colour TV and DVD player. Windows looking out on to The Square.
  • Downstairs to separate dining kitchen with newly-fitted Shaker-style kitchen units and solid wood work surface, fridge, electric oven and hob, Belfast sink, microwave, kettle and toaster. The floor is flagstone and there is a welsh dresser and feature fireplace (non-working). Look out for the original smuggler's door, uncovered during the renovations!
  • Beautiful first-floor bathroom with free-standing roll-top bath with shower over, WC and washbasin.
  • Separate WC (reputedly, John Wesley's pulpit!).
  • Shared wardrobe on landing.
  • 1st-floor double bedroom with metal frame bed, pine chest of drawers, windows to front and back, village views, original fireplace (non-working).
  • 2nd-floor single bedroom with white frame bed and window overlooking Fisherhead and Fylingdales Moor.
  • Further 2nd-floor twin bedroom with metal frame beds. Windows to front overlooking The Square and to the back looking out over the sea to Ravenscar.
  • Small outside sitting area (chairs provided).
  • Carpeting to lounge, stairs and bedrooms.
  • Gas-fired central heating throughout.
  • Please note that bed linen and towels are provided.
  • Welcome pack included.
  • Sorry, no pets and no smoking.
